In this second installment, I continue my discussion about how corrupt financial institutions like Chase Bank need to be boycotted. I also recommend not using Visa and Mastercard checking cards, even when the money exists in your checking account. Even though this doesn’t incur interest on you, the merchant has to pay anywhere from 2-4 percent to that financial institution. Mom & pop stores are up to their eyeballs in this financial crap, and every time I go to a diner or low-cost store, I …

  1. Back in 1999 or 2000, I remember AT&T Universal Card telling me that they allowed two late payments a year if the customer was to request it. That doesn’t happen anymore. Here’s what you do. Make their life miserable by saying “fuck you” and not making a payment. I am saying this because they don’t have as much power as you think they do. It’s like the movie The Matrix. We are all willingly giving into this crap, and the truth is, we really don’t have to. Be the 1% that breaks the illusion.

  2. Chase now has the Sapphire card which apparently allows you to choose the date of your payment. But anyways I think Credit Card companies should allow you up to 4 late payments a year no questions asked if you are paying in full or the minimum. WTF?

  3. A couple of months ago, I forgot about the extra step and printed off that screen thinking I was finished. When I found out what happened, I called them and offered to fax them the printout which showed I had set the payment up on time. They said it didn’t matter. So I was charged a late fee (even though the payment was one day late and Ive never been late before) and now they’re raising my interest rate. If you get a class action suit going, I want in.

  4. Awhile back, Chase added another screen at the end of their online payment process. At the bottom of this final screen (which you can’t see unless you scroll down), you check a box saying you agree to the payment, even though the previous screen made you believe you just did that. Also, they kept the little printer icon at the top of that extra page, which makes you think you are finished. (to be continued)

  5. FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS USE CHASE CREDIT

CHASE is the WORST. Taking taxpayers money and more than doubling our minimum payments from 2-5%. They do this on low interest balance transfer loans to get them paid off faster and/or negotiate you to a higher rate to restore the 2% minimum payment. Mine was 5% and they offered to raise it to 8% for two years and then off course up to 18%+ after that. These people cannot be trusted.

    PLEASE Post/REPOST on other sites

  6. chase customer service is shitty because they have smug lousy dumb blond fat cows for employees and they’re matched only by their scum executives!

jamie dimon, gordon a. smith and the bitch deb walden, though words can’t exactly describe the amount of disgust I feel towards you and your bank,I think if I say that seeing each one of you drown in a pool of vomit and dhiaria could be a pleasurable experience, you’ll get the gest and hence the small letters for your names.

  7. After Chase took over WAMU they jacked my WAMU credit card up to 29.99%. I took money out of my retirement account and paid them off and cancelled my card.

I am now getting socked with overdraft fees. I’m looking at switching to Wells Fargo or ING. Chase appears to be trying to lose business…strange.

Taked to sups & no change. They are crooks!!! We need to all band together some how???

  9. Great. I have direct deposits with Chase. They are holding my money..even when I deposit cash. Today I am closing one of my accounts and will close the other one as soon as I contact social security. No more direct deposits. Gonna invest my money in Bank of a Mattress. No fees, no bullshit and you always know where your money is. Heck, leave your front door unlocked while your at it. I’ll bet your money will have a less chance of being stolen than if Chase has it!!

  11. A class action lawsuit might work… except that the the banks (and credit card companies are banks too) own the judges. Believe it.

And get your money out of ALL the banks and credit unions too… as much as possible.

  14. Just got our Chase credit card bill. No late payments but our minimum payment went from $186.00 a month to $462.00. Nothing extra has been charged on the card in over a year. Called them and spoke to some foreign person. No help at all!!!!

  15. no he is right chase has no mercy on people even on their first late payment after years of good history. they wont negotiate and just raise rates and give u fees. they dont care. they are in business cuz they charge poeple excessively. and they bought out good customers from washington mutual. they are crap!! i cant wait to pay off my credit card this year and GET OUT ASAP

  16. Do you feel good now? Good. Just remember that Chase doesn’t care a hill of beans for you either. Defending them is like defending racist cops for beating an innocent black man. Eventually, however, the cops come for you too. It’s karma at its purest.

  17. Are you kidding me??? So don’t pay with Debit Cards or Credit Cards??? What you are really trying to say for the past twenty minutes is that you can’t manage your own personal finances. Interesting isn’t it that Chase is still standing…and the reason you are in “big big” trouble is because you are a moron and when you don’t have money…you spend it…keep blaming others and see how that goes for ya champ

  20. Hello:

No, I don’t have problems with any bank. I have a net surplus in my bank account. It’s just that as times come closer to economic chaos, crazy policies are driving today’s financial institutions. Why is it that people like yourself defend this behavior of banks when they are just as apt to screw you over as well? I’ll make a dare to you to miss one payment with Chase, and you’ll see they treat you just like everyone else.

  24. For bronxxbunny~~ You must also be in their graces somehow! They are animals! I will pay off the last of the two cards we hold that they “bought” with our tax billions & they ARE trying to shed everybody they can before the new “government” passes that new legislation that is due in 9 months!
Just give them time dear~~ they will come at you too with interest rate hikes & default fees just as soon as they can!
I’m still trying to keep my 767 credit score so~ I’ll pay em but they are dead to me!
